The primary role of this position is to facilitate the in-country implementation of the assigned customized program and provide safety\/emergency support as needed. During the program, the On-Site Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to- day logistics of the assigned customized program and providing in-country support to both the leading faculty and students. Using personal travel experience and where possible language knowledge, the On-Site Program Coordinator will help create a program environment that is safe and conducive to cultural engagement.\u00a0 This position is contracted for the duration of the program.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Customized Faculty-Led Programs Team develops international faculty-led programs for colleges and universities across the United States. We provide the logistics and staff support to facilitate the international course, allowing the faculty member to focus on the academic portion of the trip. These programs vary in duration, location, travel and activities based on the needs of the institution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Specific Duties\u00a0Pre-Program:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Complete required online training prior to program<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Meet with Program Coordinator to review program<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Meet with Faculty and Program Coordinator to get acquainted and review program<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Skype into student pre-departure to say hello (5 minutes)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Check program logistics and (possibly) make reservations<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>During the Program:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Provide in-country health and safety orientation for faculty and students<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Facilitate all logistical aspects of the program including transportation, planned\u00a0excursions and tours, group meals, and accommodations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Manage group on-site funds, payments and receipts (when applicable)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Travel with group to all scheduled destinations and events<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Serve in an on-call capacity, facilitating emergency protocol if necessary<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Implement La Vida Local and other cultural components<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Take photos daily<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Create a positive and flexible environment throughout the program<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Provide 24\/7 full program style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Ability to represent CISabroad with enthusiasm, integrity, accuracy, and in the spirit of its\u00a0mission<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Interest in working with college students and faculty in an international environment<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Organized, professional, energetic, flexible, independent, creative<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Experience managing groups, work with American students preferred<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Excellent communication and customer service skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">International study, intern, work, and\/or volunteer experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Experience traveling in the placement location<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Host language conversation skills preferred<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Bachelor\u2019s degree (or equivalent) and minimum of two years work experience, or some graduate school<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Stipend and Benefits:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Airfare (if necessary), transportation to program location, accommodation (if necessary), and all in-country travel expenses will be covered for the duration of the program. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">A daily stipend (in\u00a0US Dollars) will be paid for services rendered, as well as a daily food stipend. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Additional compensation is commensurate based on the
