stay current with trends and development<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Engage in ongoing professional development\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Routine Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Plan and coordinate, and implement programs and events of WORLD: The David and Leighan Rinker Center for International Learning<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Develop and update materials and reports related to international learning<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Support the WORLD Center director<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Collaborate with staff at the WORLD, the Office of International Programs at the College of Law and in Celebration<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\uf0b7<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Collaborate with program coordinators and other staff members of Campus Life and Student success to on a daily basis<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Supervise student workers providing services and support to WORLD and other international learning activities\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Require<span style=\"color: #000000\">ments<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Bachelor\u2019s degree required; master\u2019s degree preferred. A master&#8217;s degree in higher education, student affairs, international education, or a directly related field may be substituted for one year of experience.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Sensitivity to cultural diversity<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Must meet Department of Homeland Security requirements or Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate responsible Officer (ARO).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Previous international experience (study abroad, work abroad, and\/or previous experience working with international populations)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through (oral, written, and listening)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Successful track record in the use of personal computers for electronic communication, word processing, database management, and marketing<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Equivalent of at least 2-3 years of progressively responsible professional student services work experience\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Ability to participate in occasional evening and weekend activities\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Background in higher education, student affairs, or international education<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Experience and\/or knowledge of student activities, program planning, and event management<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Ability to speak another language<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Ability to use CS6, Banner, Terra Dotta, SEVIS.
