You will be based in our Tokyo office and report to the Managing Director in Tokyo.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\">Our team conducts independent investigations to help clients resolve a variety of issues, including:<\/span><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Corporate Investigations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Whistleblower allegations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Fraud and complex financial investigations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Anti-bribery and corruption (FCPA\/U.K. Bribery Act) investigations and risk assessments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Political risk assessments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and cross-border transactions<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Assisting in coordinating investigations ranging from investigative due diligence and business intelligence to political risk analyses, often working with multi-jurisdictional teams across different countries<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Investigative research, collation and analysis of information to support projects, evaluating significant amounts of information from numerous sources for accuracy and relevance<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Creation of project reports in English and assisting in client liaison in English and Japanese<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Preparation of business development materials including articles and presentations<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Key Requirements:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Fluent English speaker with ability in Japanese<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Excellent oral and written communication skills, with formal business English proficiency.
