Summary:\u00a0<\/strong>UQ International Development (UQID)\u00a0has been pre-selected to provide Aid Advisory Services (AAS) under eight Standing Offers managed by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The successful appointee will be responsible for increasing UQID’s success in tendering for activities under these Standing Offers through a combination of targeted research, business development, and networking.<\/span><\/p>\n

The position requires the ability to travel and work non-standard hours when work demands dictate.<\/span><\/p>\n

UQ International Development (UQID), formerly UniQuest International Development, has completed more than 500 developing assistance activities in 80 countries throughout the Pacific, South-East Asia, the Indian sub-continent, and Africa. With the technical expertise of UQID staff and collaborating with UQ academics and consultants who share our vision and values, we work to empower individuals,\u00a0organizations\u00a0and communities towards self-sufficiency with the aim of making a positive difference in their lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong>To be successful in this role you should have significant exposure to the international development assistance sector, experience working with DFAT, as well as experience in business development including development and drafting of tender responses. You should also possess a relevant undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and\/or education\/training.<\/span><\/p>\n

Remuneration:<\/strong> This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at HEW Level 7. The remuneration package will be in the range $77,183 – $84,418 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5% (total package will be in the range $84,418 – $92,437 p.a.).<\/span><\/p>\n
