An updated and expanded paperback edition was recently released. He is also a professor at <strong>The University of Tokyo<\/strong>, Sophia University and the University of the Sacred Heart Tokyo, a contributing writer and editor for <em><strong>A Public Space<\/strong><\/em> and \u00a0<em><strong>Adbusters<\/strong><\/em> magazines, and a columnist for <em><strong>The Daily Yomiuri<\/strong><\/em>. He has trained in improvisational comedy at <strong>Second City<\/strong> and <strong>ImprovOlympic<\/strong> and plays bass in the Chicago art-punk band <strong>Brilliant Pebbles<\/strong>, which has been described variously as \u201cmelodramatic video game music,\u201d \u201cmoon-man opera,\u201d and \u201cgypsy sex metal.\u201d James was an ALT at Oyodo Senior High School in Nara-ken from 2004-2006.
