Overview<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

We are seeking an active and engaging Tutor (Language Training Consultant). If you are patient, compassionate and genuinely care about international business professionals and their families in the Dublin and Northwest part of Columbus, then come work as an Independent Contractor for Two Birds One Stone Learning!<\/p>\n

In the role of a Tutor, you will guide and lead our client’s learning of the four language skills (Reading, Writing,\u00a0Listening, and Speaking) used by language learners.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a Tutor for Two Birds One Stone Learning, you will assess students at their homes or at a place of the client’s choosing throughout the Dublin, OH area, submit lesson plans prior to the delivery of a lesson as needed, reply to emails and other forms of communication in a timely fashion. In the case of inclement weather during the Winter Season, you may be asked to deliver services online via Skype.\u00a0 Services delivered:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • English Conversation guided by a textbook (no lesson plan required before the delivery of the lesson)<\/li>\n
  • Homework assistance for youth in subjects being studied at school (no lesson plan required before the delivery of the lesson)<\/li>\n
  • Skills Enhancement Training.\u00a0 Four skills training as designated by the client.\u00a0 Lesson plans are required in order to receive payment at the premium rate.<\/li>\n
  • \u200bTest Prep Training.\u00a0 Language-specific tests such as the TOEIC, TOEFL, EIKEN, and IELTS.\u00a0 Lesson plans are required in order to receive payment at the premium rate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    As a Tutor at Two Birds One Stone Learning, you must have a desire to work with language learners that ranging from youth to adult, male and female.\u00a0 You must bring energy and fresh ideas to the lesson while making an impact on the students that will last for the rest of their lives. Additional items not required but are preferred include:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • A four-year degree in Education or<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Can exhibit substantial experience teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • Native English speakers with Japanese speaking ability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • \u00a0The ability to process high-level English instruction for TOEFL and EIKEN examinations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • Availability to meet with clients in the evenings and on Saturdays at their homes in Dublin, Ohio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
