Overview:\u00a0<\/strong>Have undergraduate study in Mathematics?\u00a0If you want to stay in Japan and\/or want to teach solo, the Sapporo City\u00a0Board of Education (Hokkaido) is recruiting a teacher for\u00a0Mathematics to teach at Sapporo Kaisei Secondary\u00a0School from October 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a six-month internship period with conditions similar to the\u00a0JET Programme in which candidates assist with lesson prep and get used\u00a0to the school.<\/p>\n

From April 2016, the teachers will be employed on\u00a0renewable one-year contracts and will run their own classes teaching\u00a0basic Math in English to 2nd year middle school students.\u00a0Classes are capped at 27 students, classrooms are equipped with TVs\/Apple TVs, and teachers and students have iPads.<\/p>\n

Application Process:\u00a0<\/strong>Experience teaching English and of the Japanese school system will\u00a0be required so we consider JETs to be perfect candidates. Applications\u00a0are due by the end of July and require documentation so please send\u00a0expressions of interest\/questions as soon as you can to\u00a0benjamin.gibb@sapporo-c.ed.jp.<\/p>\n
