Overview:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Customized Faculty-Led Programs Team develops international faculty-led programs for colleges and universities across the United States. We provide the logistics and staff support to facilitate the international course, allowing faculty members to focus on the academic portion of the trip. These programs vary in duration, location, travel, and activities based on the needs of the institution.<\/p>\n

This position is part of the\u00a0Customized Faculty-Led Programs Team and reports to the\u00a0Customized Faculty-Led Programs\u00a0Coordinator who specializes in the designated country. The primary role of this position is to facilitate the in-country implementation of the assigned customized program and provide safety\/emergency support as needed. During the program the On-Site Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics of the assigned customized program and providing in-country support to both the leading faculty and CISabroad students. Using personal travel experience and language knowledge, the On-Site Program Coordinator will help create a program environment that is safe and conducive to cultural engagement. This position is contracted for the duration of the program.<\/p>\n

Specific Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Complete\u00a0required\u00a0online\u00a0training\u00a0prior\u00a0to\u00a0program<\/li>\n
  • Provide\u00a0in\u2010country\u00a0orientation\u00a0for\u00a0faculty\u00a0and\u00a0students<\/li>\n
  • Facilitate all logistical aspects of the program including transportation, planned excursions and tours, group meals, and accommodations<\/li>\n
  • Provide\u00a0pre\u2010program\u00a0logistical\u00a0support<\/li>\n
  • Manage\u00a0group\u00a0on\u2010site\u00a0funds,\u00a0payments\u00a0and\u00a0receipts\u00a0(when\u00a0applicable)<\/li>\n
  • Travel\u00a0with\u00a0group\u00a0to\u00a0all\u00a0scheduled\u00a0destinations\u00a0and\u00a0events<\/li>\n
  • Serve\u00a0in\u00a0an\u00a0on\u2010callcapacity,\u00a0facilitating\u00a0emergency\u00a0protocol\u00a0if\u00a0necessary<\/li>\n
  • Implement\u00a0La\u00a0Vida\u00a0Local\u00a0and\u00a0other\u00a0cultural\u00a0components<\/li>\n
  • Take\u00a0photos\u00a0daily\u00a0and\u00a0upload\u00a0them\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0company\u00a0photo\u00a0sharing\u00a0website\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0end\u00a0of\u00a0the program<\/li>\n
  • Create\u00a0a\u00a0positive\u00a0and\u00a0flexible\u00a0environment\u00a0throughout\u00a0the\u00a0program<\/li>\n
  • Provide\u00a024\/7\u00a0full\u00a0program\u00a0support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Ability to represent CISabroad with enthusiasm, integrity, accuracy, and in the spirit of its mission<\/li>\n
    • Interest in working with college students in an international environment<\/li>\n
    • Organized, professional, energetic, flexible, independent, creative<\/li>\n
    • Experience managing groups<\/li>\n
    • Good communication skills<\/li>\n
    • International study, intern, work, and\/or volunteer experience<\/li>\n
    • Experience traveling in the placement location<\/li>\n
    • Ability to converse in the host language as necessary<\/li>\n
    • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years work experience or some graduate school<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Stipend and Benefits:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Airfare (if necessary) and all in-country travel expenses will be covered during the duration of the program, as well as a daily food stipend. Attention compensation is commensurate based on the program length and location.<\/p>\n
