Position<\/strong>: Administrative Assistant

The Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations is seeking an Administrative Assistant in the Social Section at the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n

Draft and prepare letters and diplomatic correspondence
\nAssist in logistics\/protocol for conferences, meetings, briefings, receptions, and other official functions
\nEdit English in both official\/unofficial documents
\nManage appointment schedules for the section, visiting diplomats, and VIPs
\nAttend meetings\/conferences at UN as necessary
\nRespond to inquiries
\nAssist other officers and staff in the section when needed<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Requirements\/Preferences:<\/p>\n

Candidates must be a US citizen or non-US citizen currently with a legal status that allows him\/her to stay for an extended period, preferably on permanent basis, and legally work in the US.Bachelor\u2019s degree, preferably in International Relations, Political Science, Human Rights, Humanitarian Affairs, or related discipline.
\nExcellent writing and verbal communication skills
\nComputer skills, typing skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc) required
\nJapanese language skills preferred<\/p>\n

Position begins: Late June, 2015.<\/strong><\/p>\n
