In the US, sweet potatoes with hard, orange flesh (<\/span><em style=\"color: #141412\">ann\u00f4imo,\u00a0<\/em><span style=\"color: #141412\">\u5b89\u7d0d\u828b) are more common, but in Japan, sweet potatoes with a softer, white\/yellow flesh (<\/span><em style=\"color: #141412\">satsumaimo<\/em><span style=\"color: #141412\">, \u30b5\u30c4\u30de\u30a4\u30e2) are what you\u2019ll find in the grocery store.
