\u00a0Job Description Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/b><\/p>\n

The Program Coordinator reports to the Director of International and Academic Initiatives and provides services and programs including individual study abroad advising, international education programming, support and programming for international students, coordinating the U.S. Foreign Policy Summer Program, and managing the Elliott School Language Proficiency Requirement and Exams.<\/p>\n

Minimum Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 0-2 years of relevant professional experience. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Desired Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2022 Knowledge of international education trends, theories, and applications preferred.
\n\u2022 International experience with a solid understanding of international affairs curricula and international student exchange programs is preferred.
\n\u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills with the ability to present clear and accurate information to small and large groups.
\n\u2022 Should be tactful, flexible, and able to interact with all levels of school administration, faculty, students, and alumni in representing the office. Must also be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
\n\u2022 Strong technical skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an aptitude to learn new applications quickly including social media is desired. Prefer prior experience and familiarity with StudioAbroad.
\n\u2022 Strong cross-cultural skills and marketing skills.<\/p>\n
