TKP New York,\u00a0with a very successful parent company in Japan,\u00a0is a quickly growing conference center operation, recently having established its American flagship location in mid-town Manhattan right next to Bryant Park.<\/div>\n

TKP is\u00a0currently looking for a Full-Time Sales Coordinator to join\u00a0its dynamic and growing team. This entry-level position\u00a0serves as a member of the Sales team to help secure contracts with prospective clients.\u00a0Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: making and receiving phone calls regarding event bookings, creating proposals for prospective clients, assisting with promotional materials, giving site tours, and coordinating with the Events Operations team to ensure smooth execution of contracts and client satisfaction the day of events.<\/div>\n

Currently, the TKP team is comprised of a small handful of very active and personable individuals, all with some sort of connection to Japan. The successful candidate will be a team player who is flexible and willing to wear many hats in an entrepreneurial environment. Positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and polished presentation musts!\u00a0 This is a position with a lot of visibility and direct communication\u00a0with clients and ideal for someone interested in\u00a0the hospitality industry and\/or sales.\u00a0Related experience (especially sales) desirable, but not a must. Attitude, presentation and\u00a0willingness to learn are of paramount importance.<\/div>\n
