Great opportunity for candidates who like Japan or are interested in Japan and Japanese culture. In this opening, you will be working with Japanese as well as Australian and Japanese media which will provide you the opportunity to develop your Japanese language skills through liaising with colleagues and head office. This is a one year maternity cover role, commencing in November.\u00a0
\nKey responsibilities in this position are:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Write and circulate media releases, newsletters and travel updates to the media
\n\u2022 Organize and coordinate Japan media trip and provide assistance for travel writers travelling to Japan
\n\u2022 Research and provide up to date information and accurate statistics on Japan related articles
\n\u2022 Collect Japanese articles, advertisements and create reports for sharing information with business partners
\n\u2022 Conduct research and analysis on media marketing and provide reports to Executive Director and Director
\n\u2022 Coordinate and manage projects
\n\u2022 Handle public enquiries and provide information on Japan travel
\n\u2022 Send out brochures and other travel materials
\n\u2022 Edit web pages and update the contents on Facebook to provide up-to-date information
\n\u2022 Assist at promotional event, send out information to business partners, attending and making presentations at events seminars
\n\u2022 Make business trips, interstate or to international destinations for travel shows and \/or familiarization trips
\n\u2022 Provide business trip reports, and business meeting reports to Executive Director or as otherwise directed on and to assist other staff in the office<\/p>\n

In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Advanced Japanese level (Speaking \/ Reading \/ Writing) , Native English level
\n\u2022 Previous experience in Marketing\/ PR\/ Media industry(Not essential but highly regarded)
\n\u2022 Ability to travel(within Australia)
\n\u2022 Have a great interest in Japan or Japanese culture<\/p>\n
