IIE may add, change, or remove essential and other duties at any time.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for complying with applicable contract and sponsor requirements and following all IIE policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Manage J sponsorship for grantee caseload of over 200 on behalf of the US Department of State and advise colleagues in Student Services and Foreign Fulbright program divisions on J visa regulations.<\/li>\n<li>May act as Alternate Responsible Officer for exchange visitor programs administered by the division as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Direct fiscal oversight of a grantee renewal caseload of 100 including deciding on renewal amounts, writing renewal terms of appointment, and verifying that grantees institutional awards have been awarded for upcoming year institutional awards.<\/li>\n<li>Verify grantee Electronic Funds Transfer payments have gone through accurately and timely.<\/li>\n<li>Initial technical review of Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant program (FLTA) and Student Program candidate dossiers for completeness<\/li>\n<li>May be asked to work on special division wide projects.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other duties and functions as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education\/Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and at least four years&#8217; experience with at least 2 years of related experience and\/or training such as grantee management, program operations, etc; or equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in higher education operations, a plus<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<\/li>\n<li>Must be a team player and able to work in a high pressure environment<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of J-1 Visa regulations and SEVIS system is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience and ability to complete tasks on time, with an appropriate sense of urgency and commitment to accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively in one-on-one situations.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines on a daily basis.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to multi-task and set work goals and priorities in accordance with department and IIE goals.<\/li>\n<li>To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word 2010; accounting software; internet software and database software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment and Physical Demands:<\/strong> Essential functions are typically performed in an office setting with a low level of noise.
