Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marquette University, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is accepting applications for the Assistant Director, Study Abroad position. This position is responsible for the oversight and management of administrative functions of the overall study abroad program, including but not limited to: advising and student learning, planning and program development, and public relations and marketing, personnel and budget management. The Assistant Director reports to the Director of the Office of International Education (OIE) and supervises two study abroad coordinators, one administrative assistant and 3-4 student workers.<\/span>
<\/p>\n

Ongoing strategic initiatives include but are not limited to: continued support for development of faculty-led short-term programs; assessment of student learning outcomes; implementation of curriculum integration; and, continued response to health and safety issues. Study abroad programs include a diverse palette of program types including University-sponsored semester and short-term programs, bilateral exchanges, direct relationships with partner universities, and a limited number of third party providers.<\/span><\/p>\n
