\nAs part of the Firm\u2019s Human Resources Department, the Manager of Alumni Relations will work to strengthen and capitalize on the Firm\u2019s alumni network of approximately 2,600 attorneys.
\n<\/p>\n

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Oversee the maintenance of alumni website, including new content and job board build-out; \u2022 Oversee alumni outreach and communications including newsletters, birthday cards, and congratulatory gifts; \u2022 Organize alumni events, including social events and training programs; \u2022 Organize departure receptions for retiring Partners and track departure event activity for non-Partners; \u2022 Continually track alumni employment changes; \u2022 Publicize the Alumni Network internally and externally, and provide departing attorneys with alumni program on-boarding; \u2022 Chair firm-wide Alumni Program Committee; \u2022 Partner with the Business Development Department to drive specific in-house communications; \u2022 Track ROI on program.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 BS or BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English preferred (advanced degree a plus) \u2022 One to three years\u2019 experience in alumni relations, volunteer management or constituent relations \u2022 Experience with all aspects of planning, producing, and programming events for professionals \u2022 Experience with marketing, public relations or client relations \u2022 Ability to develop and leverage relationships with Firm alumni and with internal Firm resources \u2022 Ability to liaise with clients and other organizations \u2022 Ability to learn about capabilities and experience of alumni \u2022 Sensitive to deadlines and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under time pressures \u2022 Ability to exhibit initiative and a strong customer service focus \u2022 Strategic thinker with careful attention to detail and accuracy \u2022 Proactive, flexible, motivated, resourceful and well organized \u2022 Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to interface with personnel at all levels, both verbally and in writing \u2022 Demonstrated ability to work within a budget<\/p>\n
