Then this position may be right for you!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Bridge is seeking an energetic Assistant Academic Director to provide excellent support to international students at our new BridgePathways Intensive English Program (IEP) at Philadelphia University.\u00a0BridgePathways prepares international students for admission and academic success in U.S. universities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary of Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Assistant Academic Director is responsible for supporting students with academic guidance, extra-curriculum activities and housing. As Assistant Academic Director, you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide excellent support to international students, by advising students regarding academic performance and other matters<\/li>\n<li>Teach as necessary, depending on enrollment volume<\/li>\n<li>Plan social and cultural activities for international students<\/li>\n<li>Act as liaison with host university for housing program and other university services<\/li>\n<li>Support Academic Director in other administrative duties as necessary to manage the IEP center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Experience and Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years of English language teaching experience<\/li>\n<li>Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students of diverse backgrounds.
