Program Management\/Administration (80%)<\/strong><br \/>\n\u00b7 Develop and implement programs for New York area international undergraduate and graduate students, including:<\/p>\n<p>\u2212 community visits\/home hospitality\u2212 cultural enrichment activities<\/p>\n<p>\u2212 foreign affairs conference delegations<\/p>\n<p>\u2212 receptions and special events<\/p>\n<p>\u2212 campus-to-career programs<\/p>\n<p>\u2212 student social and volunteer activities<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Maintain and develop program partnerships with cooperating institutions, organizations, and community groups<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Accompany groups on programs to provide leadership and promote interaction\/cross-cultural exchange<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Prepare pre-program orientation sessions and materials<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Program Marketing and Recruitment:<\/p>\n<p>\u2212design and deliver presentations at campus orientations<\/p>\n<p>\u2212create and coordinate distribution of electronic program announcements and manage online registration process and database entry<\/p>\n<p>-ensure that programs are filled to capacity whenever possible<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Further develop One To World Enrichment program\u2019s social media presence using Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, etc.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Post-program follow-up:<\/p>\n<p>\u2212distribute\/summarize evaluation questionnaires; produce reports<\/p>\n<p>\u2212prepare thank-you correspondence<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Manage One To World\u2019s fulltime Sciences Po Global Fellow intern<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Manage\/maintain student database; produce statistical reports<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Support Director in programming for Fulbright grantees as needed<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Work with the executive staff and committees of the Board of Directors to develop and implement new programs and service strategies<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Support donor cultivation program management<\/p>\n<p>\u2212 Conversations with Fulbrighters<\/p>\n<p>\u2212 Dinner Diplomat Programs<\/p>\n<p>\u2212 Other projects as requested<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Prepare and oversee program budgets; maintain detailed financial records<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Information Services (10%)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Respond to mail, telephone, email and walk-in inquiries from students\/scholars and colleagues regarding One To World\u2019s programs and services, city living, and related issues<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Provide information referral and advice to affiliated organizations on international student issues &amp; concerns as requested<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Represent One To World at monthly membership meetings &amp; conferences<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Grant Maintenance (5%)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Assist in preparing funding requests, proposals and final reports to funders<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Other duties as requested (5%)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree \u2013 Master\u2019s Degree preferred<\/li>\n<li>Previous administrative experiences (especially event planning\/coordination and\/or programming for international students)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail &amp; ability to multitask effectively<\/li>\n<li>International work, study, or living experience<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal\/communication skills (oral, written, cross-cultural)<\/li>\n<li>High energy and enthusiasm for working with international student population willingness to work many weekends and evenings<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with online databases, graphic design, desktop publishing and web design software a plus<\/li>\n<li>Firsthand knowledge of New York City<\/li>\n<li>Creative, sense of humor, \u201ccan do\u201d attitude; strategic\/resourceful thinker<\/li>\n<li>Experience with marketing, communication &amp; social media a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send resume, a thoughtful cover letter and salary requirements to:\u00a0 asya @ one-to-world.org<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Very interesting opportunity.
