Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n

ISEP is currently seeking a Part-Time Human Resources Manager located in our<\/span>\u00a0central office located in Arlington VA (10 minutes from Washington DC). \u00a0<\/span>Founded in 1979, ISEP is a nonprofit membership organization with over 300 <\/span>partner institutions in 50 countries around the world. ISEP provides exchange\u00a0<\/span>and study abroad opportunities to over 3,400 students annually.<\/span><\/p>\n

Position Summary:<\/span><\/strong>
The Human Resources manager manages the day-to-day administration of the\u00a0<\/span>ISEP\u2019s human resource programs. This includes benefits administration,\u00a0<\/span>recruitment, employee relations and welfare, compensation and performance\u00a0<\/span>management programs, policies and procedures, and employee record\u00a0<\/span>maintenance.\u00a0<\/span>
<\/p>\n

Principal Accountabilities:<\/span><\/strong>
Benefits Administration<\/span>
\u2022 Review benefits and wellness products on an annual basis<\/span>
\u2022 Process and enroll employees in all benefit plans and process changes<\/span>
\u2022 Provide clarification to employees on benefit plans, claims and eligibility<\/span>
\u2022 Act as an interface with employees and providers to assist with problem\u00a0<\/span>resolution<\/span>
\u2022 Maintain benefits enrollment information to assist the Accounting\u00a0<\/span>department with invoice reconciliation<\/span>
\u2022 Maintain regular contact with vendors and broker to ensure efficient\u00a0<\/span>timely processing of benefits claims and issues.\u00a0<\/span>
\u2022 Ensure all required reports are processed in a timely manner<\/span>
Recruiting<\/span>
\u2022 Responsible for initiating recruitment cycle<\/span>
\u2022 Draft advertisements and post open positions at appropriate recruiting\u00a0<\/span>sources<\/span>
\u2022 Serve as a resource for hiring managers in the recruiting process<\/span>
\u2022 Assist in initial screening of resumes and participate in interview process<\/span>
\u2022 Coordinate interviews and provide interview assistance to hiring\u00a0<\/span>managers.<\/span>
\u2022 Draft offer letters in accordance with ISEP standards and policies<\/span>
\u2022 Maintain documentation of all recruitment activity\u00a0<\/span>
Employee Relations<\/span>
\u2022 Coordinate orientation for newly hired staff with all relevant departments\u00a0<\/span>to fully explain ISEP\u2019s overall structure, programs etc. and conduct the part of\u00a0<\/span>the orientation that describes benefits programs, policies, and ISEP operational<\/span>\u00a0procedures.<\/span>
\u2022 Provide clarification of policies and procedures to ISEP staff<\/span>
\u2022 Provide guidance to managers in addressing employee performance\u00a0<\/span>concerns\u00a0<\/span>
\u2022 Assist management in developing a positive work environment by\u00a0<\/span>identifying needs and developing programs or policies<\/span>
\u2022 Assist in developing and conducting employee development and welfare<\/span>\u00a0events and programs. These may include training programs, brownbag lunches,<\/span>\u00a0and staff functions.<\/span>
\u2022 Act as an ombudsman for the organization for employees to obtain\u00a0<\/span>information and bring organizational concerns to the attention of management.<\/span>
\u2022 Identify employee development needs<\/span>
Compensation and Performance Management<\/span>
\u2022 Coordinate the annual review process to include providing instructions to\u00a0<\/span>managers, reviewing assessments, tracking completion, and maintaining files<\/span>
\u2022 Provide assistance to managers in assessing and documenting employee\u00a0<\/span>performance<\/span>
\u2022 Review the competitiveness of the organization\u2019s pay program<\/span>
Employee Records<\/span>
\u2022 Maintain and update personnel files with respect to new hire\u00a0<\/span>documentation, benefits, taxes, performance reviews, personnel actions, and<\/span>\u00a0the like<\/span><\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/span><\/strong>
Education: BS in Human Resources Management or Business<\/span><\/p>\n

Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in an HR Generalist Role, preferably at a<\/span>\u00a0management level and at least 2 years managing recruitment process.\u00a0<\/span>Nonprofit\u00a0experience a plus.<\/p>\n

Skills: Strong Communication Skills. Candidate must be able to work\u00a0independently and have strong knowledge of all local, state, and federal\u00a0legislation affecting the organization. Successful candidate will also be able to\u00a0enhance\/improve organizational processes. Performance Management and<\/p>\n

Conflict Resolution experience is essential.<\/span><\/p>\n
