Founded in 1979, ISEP\u00a0is a nonprofit membership organization with over 300 partner institutions in 50\u00a0countries around the world. ISEP provides exchange and study abroad\u00a0opportunities to over 3,400 students annually.<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Position Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nUnder the general supervision of the Assistant Vice President for Programs, the\u00a0Program Assistant serves as a member of the Programs Team providing\u00a0administrative support for the student placement process and program\u00a0implementation, including data entry, file management, and processing and\u00a0mailing of application and other program-related materials. Additional duties\u00a0may include one or more of the following responsibilities: management of\u00a0transcripts, assistance with J-1 Visa Program and SEVIS Administration,\u00a0coordination of scholarships, and recording of TOEFL scores.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nProvides program assistant support for designated region\/s<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data entry of applications and preparation of student files for program\u00a0officer review<\/li>\n<li>Corresponding with US and International ISEP coordinators with regard to\u00a0student applications, host site confirmations, and student acceptances<\/li>\n<li>Processing and mailing of student applications and other program-related\u00a0materials as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Entering placements, confirmations and students\u2019 acceptances into\u00a0database<\/li>\n<li>Initiating follow up on outstanding confirmations and acceptances<\/li>\n<li>Managing student files throughout all stages of placement process and\u00a0ensuring that student files contain documentation of significant transactions<\/li>\n<li>Filing and other administrative tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other Duties as assigned, including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting in country-specific review and development of ISEP\u00a0publications, materials and website information<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in marketing of ISEP programs<\/li>\n<li>Researching prospective member institutions in designated region<\/li>\n<li>Running statistics on student activity in region<\/li>\n<li>Filling in for Staff Assistant at Front Desk as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BA Degree in related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One year of relevant work experience in an international\u00a0organization\/higher education office<\/li>\n<li>Study abroad and\/or living abroad experience<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of cultures and educational systems within designated region<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in foreign language, preferably Spanish<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work and think independently as well as part of team<\/li>\n<li>Management of multiple projects with considerable detail<\/li>\n<li>Initiative and resourcefulness in solving problems<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems<\/li>\n<li>Applicant must have authorization to work in the U.S.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If interested, please send resume and salary requirements to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@isep.org\" target=\"_blank\">careers@isep.org<\/a>\u00a0Subject line must include job title.
