The Embassy offers group health insurance coverage, paid vacation, and sick leave. Salary is commensurate with experience. \u00a0Work hours are Monday through \u00a0Friday 9 a.m. &#8211; 5:30 p.m.<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Secretarial work such as making appointments, answering phone calls, preparing meeting rooms, checking and collecting news articles, collecting economic indicators, and making photocopies.<\/li>\n<li>Drafting, editing, and\/or proofreading letters, documents, and correspondence in English.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting diplomats in the development and implementation of events such as visits by guests and receptions, making reservations for restaurants and hotels and drawing up itineraries for visitors and drivers.<\/li>\n<li>Occasionally conducting daily news and press release monitoring of trade and economic issues relevant to the portfolios of the Economic Section diplomats.<\/li>\n<li>Other responsibilities as needed and appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder<\/li>\n<li>Language skills: Fluent in English. Ability to write a formal letter and other official documents in professional English.
