They\u00a0will deliver a customer focused admissions service to prospective\u00a0international students on all aspects of admission requirements, policies,\u00a0procedures and entry pathways. Manage the recruitment process from inquiry\u00a0to matriculation. Provide leadership, together with the Director of\u00a0International Student &amp; Scholar Services (ISSS) and VP of Enrollment, in\u00a0developing and implementing the annual strategic recruitment and retention\u00a0plan for international students.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement international student recruitment strategies locally and\u00a0internationally for undergraduate and graduate students in accordance with\u00a0the strategic recruitment and retention plan (about 20% domestic and\u00a0international travel).<\/li>\n<li>Produce the desired yield of international admits to matriculants as\u00a0articulated in the annual recruitment plan.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) for the F-1 Student\u00a0Program with regard to issuance of initial entry or transfer I-20 forms for\u00a0both undergraduate and graduate students.<\/li>\n<li>Determine admission\/denial decisions and award designated academic\u00a0scholarships according to admissions policies for international\u00a0undergraduate degree-seeking and transfer students.<\/li>\n<li>Manage telephone and face-to-face inquiries in a timely and\u00a0professional manner.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as liaison to external partnerships established to strengthen\u00a0the college\u2019s international recruitment efforts, including independent\u00a0educational consultants and\/or agents.<\/li>\n<li>Market to international students locally and internationally.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain active communication with prospective\u00a0international students and their families to advise students on the visa\u00a0application and interview process.<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with international academic credential evaluators to determine\u00a0degree and\/or credit equivalencies for prospective students.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure an effective communication flow and transition during the\u00a0admissions process between incoming international students and other campus\u00a0services.<\/li>\n<li>Hire, train and manage student assistant(s) for international student\u00a0recruitment.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and analyze relevant data to achieve enrollment targets and\u00a0evaluate strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the development of cross-divisional initiatives\u00a0designed to increase the recruitment and retention of prospective\u00a0international students.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in evaluation of institutional policies and procedures\u00a0affecting non-native English speaking students, in particular those on F-1\u00a0and\/or other nonimmigrant visas.<\/li>\n<li>Support ongoing development of alumni networks for international\u00a0student recruitment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability and interest to independently organize and carry out domestic\u00a0and international recruitment travel as indicated in the annual\u00a0international recruitment plan (approximately 20% of time).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to provide effective intercultural leadership in a\u00a0multicultural setting.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of SEVIS and F-1 regulations; knowledge of other\u00a0student-eligible non-immigrant visa categories a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Experience collecting and using data to guide decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with and adherence to NAFSA\u2019s Statement of Ethical\u00a0Principles<\/li>\n<li>Effective management and use of a wide range of social media.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a team environment and independently.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to reason and analyze.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to show initiative; multi-task and organize workflow; manage\u00a0one or more multiple projects; and handle frequent interruptions.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to attend to details with accuracy and precision.<\/li>\n<li>Must have a current valid driver\u2019s license and passport, and must be a\u00a0US citizen or a U.S. lawful permanent resident (U.S. Green Card Holder).<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in a second language such as Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish or\u00a0Portuguese is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Content Relationship Management (CRM) Systems familiarity is\u00a0preferred; knowledge of HOBSONS RADIUS a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required Experience<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree required; Master\u2019s degree preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of experience in college admissions\/recruitment, sales\u00a0and customer service;
