related experience required<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical knowledge of the laws and regulations governing visas and other immigration matters<\/li>\n<li>Substantial experience in progressively more responsible positions in delivering immigration services to international students and scholars and in meeting the immigration compliance requirements of the government<\/li>\n<li>Active involvement in professional associations of officers responsible for immigration services in higher education, preferably in leadership roles<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of computing systems devoted to immigration services; experience in supervising their design and implementation preferred<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate well, orally and in writing<\/li>\n<li>Experience in supervising staff<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;
