We support automation activities throughout North America and Japan and we\u2019re readily expanding into other parts of Asia and Europe. In this position, you will be teaching Japanese while also helping your students communicate across cultural borders. 90% of the courses are one-on-one utilizing our standard curriculum. Our students are professionals preparing for intra-company transfers to Japan. Our goal is to adequately prepare them for living and working in Nagoya, Japan. Time is limited but technology is not. We\u2019re looking for someone ultra-familiar with JLPT contents, curriculum creation and has a knack for PPT presentations.<\/p>\n<p>In this position, you will be responsible for the management and creation of our online Japanese coursework. This course is designed to be taught remotely and currently has approximately 130 students gathering three times weekly during lunch for web-conferenced Japanese language training. The immediate goal is to help them over the N5 hump. In 2015, we\u2019ll continue with N4. A large portion of the course is designed around self-study so keeping our students motivated is critical.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll need to be proficient in the Microsoft Office software suite, be a consummate student of the Japanese language, and be adept at creative modification of course content to meet the needs of our student base. Previous experience in a professional translation environment is preferred. Advanced speaking abilities also required as communication naturally occurs with both English\/Japanese speakers throughout projects.
