report any discrepencies in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Ensures high quality and consistent customer service to all clients<\/li>\n<li>Supports and exhibits communicative model of management including but not limited to:\n<ul>\n<li>Gathering, synthesizing, and communicating information from staff in the department to supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Providing regular updates to staff on information from supervisor about goals and direction in departments and organization<\/li>\n<li>Establishing and maintaining transparency; ensuring all staff under your supervision are provided with information in a consisten and timely manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Specific to:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversees high profile professional exchange for 15 American fellows going to Germany from the beginning of application process to completion<\/li>\n<li>Provides direct and on-going client relationship management through education, assistance, and proactive communication<\/li>\n<li>Oversees all marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing and University Relations Departments: events, presentation, trips, job fairs, production of marketing materials, direct mailings, and online marketing<\/li>\n<li>Oversees the entire selection process: including annual update of online application, reading all applications, and pre-selecting, organizing final selection meetings<\/li>\n<li>Organizes and conducts annual orientation and evaluation meetings together with representatives from the Robert Bosch Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Ensures smooth coordination and monitoring of fellows&#8217; language instruction<\/li>\n<li>Supervises program support staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Robert Bosch Foundation Alumni Association (RBFAA):<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversees coordination of program activities of the RBFAA, including the annual meeting, regional events, and other events as determined<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that alumni database, website, and social media sites are being maintained by staff<\/li>\n<li>Supervises RBFAA coordinator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Cultural Vistas Fellowship Program:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><\/em>Oversees professional exchange for approx. 12 American fellows from the beginning of hte applicaiton process to completion<\/li>\n<li>Provides direct and on-going client relationship management through education, assistance, and proactive communication<\/li>\n<li>Oversees all marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing and University Relations Departments: events, presentations, trips, job fairs, production of marketing materials, direct mailings, and online marketing<\/li>\n<li>Organizes the entire selection process: including annual update of online applicaiton, reading all applications, and conducting interviews<\/li>\n<li>Maintains regular contact with partner organizaitons regarding placement process and on-program support<\/li>\n<li>Organizes and conducts annual orientation and evaluation meetings as well as virtual seminars<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Leadership and Professional Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supports ongoing professional development of staff; maintains understanding of professional development needs and interests; actively seeks out opportunities to address needs<\/li>\n<li>Exhibits committment and support towards developing and maintaining ways to expose staff to other programs and to engage staff with other programs\/projects under the scope of your program\/department<\/li>\n<li>Effectively delegates appropriate assignments that may be completed by other staff members; properly monitor assignments to completion and provide feedback and appreciation<\/li>\n<li>Manages staff performance management (formally and informally) in the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Conflict resolution (proactively addressing issues between parties)<\/li>\n<li>Mentorship (providing examples of best practices in various performance areas)<\/li>\n<li>Understanding diverse work and learning styles and respecting them, including intergenerational differences<\/li>\n<li>Consistency (ensuring the performance of each staff member is reviewed in a consistent manner)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Strategic Planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contributes to strategic development of program\/department within Cultural Vistas, including, but not limited to:\n<ul>\n<li>Establishing a critical eye for maintaining and improving operational efficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining organizational fluency in regard to the functions, needs and operations of all of the programs that Cultural Vistas implement<\/li>\n<li>Developing an outlook of how to grow and develop the program within the overall context of the growth and development of Cultural Vistas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Demonstrated Abilities Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expertise with program planning, project design and implementation, and budget process and evaluation, with the demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple processes and projects<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to maintain proactive, flexible, inventive approach<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing and developing personnel<\/li>\n<li>Client relationship management and development<\/li>\n<li>Possess commitment to professionalism and communicability<\/li>\n<li>Possess commitment to continuous quality and efficiency improvement and team-oriented collaborative model<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively delegate and monitor assignments to completion<\/li>\n<li>Ability to translate ambiguity and complexity into a simple and clear direction that motivates others to achieve results<\/li>\n<li>Ability to articulate positively, clearly, and professionally to diverse audiences<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally<\/li>\n<li>Interest in and commitment to the mission of Cultural Vistas<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in the German language<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite products.
