Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under the supervision of the Senior Investment Officer (SIO), the incumbent implements investment strategy and monitors equities portfolios for the Asia Pacific developed markets including Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea.
\na.\u00a0 Manages and invests the assets of the Fund in equities.
\nb.\u00a0 Implements approved investment strategies for the strategic and tactical asset allocation and portfolio rebalancing with careful review of the market environments.
\nb.\u00a0 Monitors portfolio to achieve the performance to meet the Funds investment objectives by reviewing both portfolio and benchmark performance on a regular basis.
\nc.\u00a0 Ensures that all of the investments are in compliance with IMD’s investment and policy guidelines.
\nd.\u00a0 Conducts portfolio review periodically and presents in the Portfolio Review Meeting.
\ne.\u00a0 Balances long-term strategies to achieve results superior to benchmarks by assisting the SIO in constructing and monitoring the portfolio through dedicated research.
\nf.\u00a0 Assists with due diligence with new investments.
\n
\n2.\u00a0 Conducts careful and thorough investment research that is relevant to managing the Asia Pac portfolios.
\na.\u00a0 Performs fundamental analysis through financial statements, corporate announcements, market news and other publicly available information.
\nb.\u00a0 Reviews investment research and discuss with strategists, economists, security analysts through brokerage community and the Advisors\/Research providers.
\nc.\u00a0 Engages with senior members of corporate management to review their business and corporate strategies.
\nd.\u00a0 Conducts portfolio analysis using risk tools and analytical tools.
\ne. Conducts sector\/thematic research and updates fundamentals of companies and industries.<\/p>\n

3. Makes specific investment recommendations.
\na.\u00a0 Ensures the Fund’s four investments criteria: i.e. safety, profitability, liquidity, and convertibility.
\nb.\u00a0 Makes specific investment recommendations to achieve optimum investment performance with careful review of the portfolio’s investment objectives and risk tolerance.
\nc.\u00a0 Presents and discusses investment recommendations to the Senior Investment Officer.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 Reporting
\na.\u00a0 Assists the SIO in reporting accurately and timely to the Representative of the Secretary-General for the Investments of the UNJSPF and Director of IMD when requested.
\nb.\u00a0 Assists the Director of Investment Management Division in reporting on investment and related matters to governing bodies.
\nc. Serves as the Officer In Charge when required in the absence of the SIO.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 Maintains a high level of professional investment expertise by:
\na.\u00a0 Participating in seminars and taking courses in investment topics.
\nb.\u00a0 Keeping abreast of rapidly changing techniques of portfolio management and exchanging view with colleagues and members of the investment community.<\/p>\n
