Still, if English is your native language, certain Japanese grammar rules, like saying \u201cwa\u201d and \u201co\u201d to mark the subject and object of your sentences, can seem like a major hassle.<\/p>\n<p>With practice, though, these things start to become automatic. Even better, the Japanese language is filled with\u00a0<strong>incredibly handy phrases that we\u2019d love to import into English<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><!--more--><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Did someone invite you to their house? A warm\u00a0<em>\u201cDomo!\u201d<\/em>\u00a0with a smile as they open the front door works as both a friendly greeting and a heartfelt thanks for opening their home to you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Rather, someone who\u2019s\u00a0<em>ozappa<\/em>\u00a0<strong>doesn\u2019t really sweat the details, whether for better or worse<\/strong>. Your friend who planned the barbeque, said he\u2019d buy the beer and stick it in the cooler, but didn\u2019t think to buy ice? He\u2019s\u00a0<em>ozappa<\/em>, but so is your other pal who doesn\u2019t get worked up when you hand him a lukewarm brew.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.
