Teach up to four courses per year.<\/p>\n<p>Provide overall management for both the curricular and co-curricular components of intensive summer program sessions for international students from partner institutions.\u00a0 Establish year round timelines for cyclical process beginning with MOUs and marketing materials, work with international partners to pre-screen students, support both the WDW and FSU application process and plan for the arrival and orientation of each group. Prepare the master calendar for intensive summer sessions to include required classroom contact hours, orientation, and social and cultural events and ensure overall program meets requirements of\u00a0\u00a0 State Department regulations for J-1 academic program followed by academic training (internship) at Walt Disney World.\u00a0 Provide oversight for purchasing, including bid process, to ensure FSU policies and procedures are followed for health insurance, on campus housing, meal plans, charters, textbooks, etc. included as part of student program fee.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nSupervise full-time student services coordinator responsible for assisting with all logistics, orientation, FSU application and admission process, session schedules and the Peer Mentor program providing support to students in the summer sessions and Special Academic Year programs.\u00a0 Rotate on call responsibilities to serve as initial point of contact for student issues during evenings and weekends.<\/p>\n<p>Oversee curriculum for intensive summer program and work with faculty to ensure program needs are met.\u00a0 Teach one intensive intercultural communication course in the summer session, and two fall courses to students during internship through monthly visits to WDW and a spring course on campus.\u00a0 Serve as point of contact for internship, housing issues and refer students to WDW resources and monitor outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>Facilitate in-depth orientation sessions to prepare students in summer sessions for American classroom culture, and how to succeed during internships at WDW. Provide fall academic orientations for Special Academic Year students to include American classroom culture, use of FSU technology, registration process for non-degree students and on campus resources.<\/p>\n<p>Work with the Walt Disney World International College Program recruiters, the international partner program coordinators, and establish new international partners as necessary to ensure that FSU receives maximum number of participants allowed by WDW.
