The Study Abroad Program Coordinator is the key contact person for faculty, students and personnel abroad regarding University of Chicago programs in a dynamic office with growing program portfolios. This position requires both broad vision for international education and attention to detail, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. The Program Coordinator should be both meticulous and flexible, and able to work cooperatively with international partners and scholars, as well as staff from other units of the University, faculty, and students. The Program Coordinator (PC) is a 12-month position and requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor s degree required.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced degree preferred.<\/li>\n<li>At least two years of experience working in higher education required.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in academic advising of undergraduate students preferred; significant international living or work experience, or experience in international education strongly preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Experience living or working in complex international settings preferred, particularly the Middle East and\/or Asia.
