Working with the Director of Individual Giving and Individual Giving Associate, this is an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in individual fundraising at an internationally-recognized nonprofit cultural organization with a distinguished history of more than 100 years.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Printing and mailing membership gift acknowledgment letters and cards<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with membership renewals each month, including the printing, mailing, copying and filing of all high-level gift renewals<\/li>\n<li>Fulfilling membership benefits such as catalogue distribution, ticket offers and gallery passes<\/li>\n<li>Providing staffing support at various Society events<\/li>\n<li>Processing and mailing matching gift applications<\/li>\n<li>Conducting research and identifying new prospect members and merchant partners; helping produce donor reports<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with donor-recognition and cultivation events<\/li>\n<li>Completing general administrative tasks as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants should be extremely organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and must be a dependable team player who can excel in a busy office environment.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Raiser\u2019s Edge a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>This is an unpaid internship, and we ask for a commitment of 20 hours per week. The start date for the position can be either May or June, and the end date will be in August.
