The Program Manager coordinates the logistics of the program including publicity, the application process, budget monitoring,\u00a0logistical arrangements for students and faculty, and assists in the\u00a0evaluation of the programs. The Program Manager also assists in advising\u00a0students interested in summer experiences abroad.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><strong>Examples of Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs all administrative aspects of the program. Track\u00a0students applications to the program, ensure applications are\u00a0complete, coordinates review of academic and student life standing,\u00a0and disseminate the applications for faculty and staff review. \u00a0Develop a standardized application, acceptance and rejection\u00a0letters, forms, program participant contracts, and coordinate any\u00a0pre-program orientation sessions.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates support services for students. Arranges housing,\u00a0educational travel, and health and safety precautions for students\u00a0participating in abroad programs, coordinating these efforts with\u00a0Brandeis faculty and the host institution. Coordinates with other\u00a0campus offices the need for classroom space and support services.<\/li>\n<li>Designs publicity for the JBS and Brandeis-Led Study Programs\u00a0in conjunction with faculty and staff. Creates written materials and\u00a0web pages, and coordinates outreach both on and off campus to\u00a0promote these innovative academic opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains records of budgets and expenditures for both\u00a0programs. Independently monitors, troubleshoots, and follows up on\u00a0any delays in processing paperwork.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Masters in higher education or related field required. Minimum of\u00a0two-three years work experience in education abroad or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of and experience with academic program administration and\u00a0implementation and emergency risk management. Excellent\u00a0organizational and communications skills; strong attention to\u00a0detail. Ability to be responsible to multiple constituencies\u00a0including faculty, students, parents, and international program\u00a0providers. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, StudioAbroad,\u00a0PeopleSoft and other software programs.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of one or more languages other than English preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Experience developing and administering budgets. Must be able to\u00a0work as part of a team.
