Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Purchase College, SUNY has a position open for\u00a0 a Coordinator of Education Abroad in the Office of International Programs and Services.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Responsibilities:<\/b>\u00a0 The Coordinator manages overseas program, exchange and SUNY education abroad marketing through coordinated advertising and recruitment strategies. S\/he provides direct service to students from inquiry through application, orientation and re-entry. The Coordinator manages applicant and participant applications and databases and will edit and develop website and promotional materials. S\/he collaborates with faculty and staff on short-term program development and implementation. S\/he also assists students in finding appropriate scholarships\/fellowships and will edit application essays. The Coordinator also assists with international student services including orientations.<\/p>\n

Minimum qualifications:<\/b>\u00a0Bachelor’s degree. 1-3 years experience working with multiple constituencies in a higher education setting as an advisor. Experience producing website and print promotional documents. Evidence of strong organizational and communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks. Experience studying, working or living abroad.<\/p>\n

Preferred Qualifications:<\/b>\u00a0Master’s degree in higher or international education or related discipline. Proficiency in a second language. Experience working in a study abroad office. Experience in study abroad program development.<\/p>\n

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.<\/p>\n
