Rennert International, a leading ESL provider based in New York and Miami is\u00a0looking for a dynamic, talented individual to join our International\u00a0Admissions team. The position is based in New York, and is a great\u00a0opportunity for someone interested in starting out in the field of\u00a0International Education or ESL. Requirements for the position include:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree
\n\u2022 have general office work and customer service experience
\n\u2022 be detail – oriented, with excellent organizational and communication skills
\n\u2022 Have a customer service approach and attitude with regards to\u00a0partner\/client relations and student admissions
\n\u2022 ability to problem-solve and focus on bigger picture
\n\u2022 Ability to manage time effectively and self-prioritize
\n\u2022 be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc), as well as\u00a0various database applications (Access, Filemaker, etc) and Adobe
\n\u2022 ability to work in the US
\n\u2022 Willingness to work long hours during busy season<\/p>\n

Additional desired experience includes:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 be proficient in at least one foreign language in addition to English\u00a0(preference: Asian, Eastern European or Turkish)
\n\u2022 ability to work in a dynamic team environment
\n\u2022 experience studying, living or working abroad
\n\u2022 Interest in Eastern European or Asian culture
\n\u2022 have ESL or teaching English as a foreign language experience
\n\u2022 prior experience in SEVIS and F-1 visa procedures, experience as a\u00a0Designated School Officer is a plus<\/p>\n

Responsibilities for the position include:\u00a0<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Process and screen admissions applications and determine admissions\u00a0eligibility
\n\u2022 Act as DSO, verifying required documents and issuing necessary visa\u00a0documentation for F-1 visa students
\n\u2022 Establish and maintain excellent partner relations with overseas\u00a0recruiting agents based in countries in Asia, Eastern Europe and Turkey
\n\u2022 Have in-depth program and housing knowledge and be able to counsel agents\u00a0and prospective students on program and housing options available in New\u00a0York and Miami
\n\u2022 Respond quickly to inquiries and requests and be able to problem-solve in\u00a0urgent situations
\n\u2022 Filing: collect necessary pre-arrival documentation for issuance of F-1\u00a0visa paperwork, maintain complete and thorough files for incoming students
\n\u2022 Verify payment collection for pre-arrival students\/agents
\n\u2022 Provide Director with weekly reports on registrations and insights into\u00a0country\/regional market promotions and trends
\n\u2022 Coordinate with Director and company President on agent database\u00a0maintenance and agent activation, email blasts and agent visit follow-ups
\n\u2022 Weekend emergency-phone rotation<\/p>\n

Salary is in mid-$30,000s, with opportunities for performanc-based bonuses\u00a0and incentives. Benefits include full medical healthcare coverage, limited\u00a0dental, 401k opt-in and the opportunity to attend for free Rennert’s evening\u00a0\u00a0foreign language program.<\/p>\n
