Year One of the grant funded an\u00a0online membership survey, a board and membership committee retreat and the expert\u00a0assistance from senior executives from the Center for Nonprofit Management. The result\u00a0is a detailed, \u201cPriorities and Strategic Campaign Action Plan\u201d, with the goal of increasing\u00a0total membership by 50% over the next two years. The Membership Development\u00a0Coordinator will play a critical role in implementing this plan (The plan will be made\u00a0available to candidates invited for an in-person interview for the position). <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/viewer?a=v&amp;pid=forums&amp;srcid=MDU5MjU4NzY2Mzc3NDQzNTM2NTQBMDA3MzIxNzQ2MzA5MzgxMDI4MzcBdVNRX0thekpHVVFKATQBAXYy\">More details available here.<\/a><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"More...\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/jetwit.com\/wordpress\/wp-includes\/js\/tinymce\/plugins\/wordpress\/img\/trans.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in working as an administrator, coordinator,\u00a0membership development, sales and marketing roles in a corporation or non-profit\u00a0organization<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience working with senior\u00a0level executives, including giving presentations, goal setting and requirements gathering<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with\u00a0the members of JASSC\u2019s board, membership committee and staff<\/li>\n<li>Will have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate people to ensure\u00a0the achievement of membership development and retention objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess good analytical skills and be able to establish high performance\u00a0standards and meet them. Clearly the candidate must be able to perform at the highest\u00a0ethical level<\/li>\n<li>Must be mature, energetic and enthusiastic and able to meet the\u00a0challenges of the membership development activities<\/li>\n<li>Will be a\u00a0logical thinker, responsible, honest, stable, be detail oriented and a team player<\/li>\n<li>Will also have strong communication skills by phone and email<\/li>\n<li>Have strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PPT and internet search<\/li>\n<li>This position requires an under-graduate degree such as business administration or\u00a0marketing communication major.
