<\/i>Overview:<\/b><\/p>\n

The Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations is seeking an Administrative Assistant in the Social Section at the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n

1) Draft and prepare letters and diplomatic correspondence
\n2) Assist in logistics\/protocol for conferences, meetings, briefings, receptions, and other official functions
\n3) Edit English in both official\/unofficial documents
\n4) Manage appointment schedules for the section, visiting diplomats, and VIPs
\n5) Attend meetings\/conferences at UN as necessary
\n6) Respond to inquiries
\n7) Assist other officers and staff in the section when needed<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • US citizenship required<\/li>\n
  • Bachelor\u2019s degree, preferably in International Relations, Political Science, Human Rights, Humanitarian Affairs, or related discipline.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n
  • Computer skills, typing skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc) required<\/li>\n
  • Japanese language skills preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
