Toho-Towa Company, LTD\u00a0 (Godzilla, etc.) is promoting Taylor\u2019s film throughout Japan with City halls, other NPO’s, Boards of Education, JETs, etc. \u00a0\u00a0JETs are good candidates to organize screenings as part of their community relations work. \u00a0Towa has posted information about this at\u00a0www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cjUvhwX-jDQ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Part of the proceeds from screenings will go to the Taylor Anderson Memorial Fund<\/strong> which is being set up as a Japanese NPO.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ambassador Fujisaki<\/strong> has agreed to be on the board and is helping us recruit other board members.\u00a0 We\u2019re working on a new website for the fund as well. \u00a0Towa would also like to have someone (such as JETs, former JETs, those associated with Taylor’s fund)\u00a0 speak at each screening.<\/p>\n

Towa will launch this effort\u00a0 at the Yamagata film festival on 10\/12\/2013\u00a0www.yidff.jp\/2013\/program\/13p7-e.html<\/a>\u00a0(Regge and some Taylor fund people will be there) and in Tokyo October 15th<\/sup>\u00a0for potential screening hosts. Screening dates will start to be known about that time and we\u2019ll keep them updated on\u00a0www.thetaylorandersonstory.com<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0www.facebook.com\/LiveYourDreamTheTaylorAndersonStory<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
