{"id":32183,"date":"2013-10-01T21:05:19","date_gmt":"2013-10-02T01:05:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jetwit.com\/wordpress\/?p=32183"},"modified":"2013-10-01T21:05:19","modified_gmt":"2013-10-02T01:05:19","slug":"update-09-30-13-live-your-dream-the-taylor-anderson-story","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jetwit.com\/wordpress\/2013\/10\/01\/update-09-30-13-live-your-dream-the-taylor-anderson-story\/","title":{"rendered":"Update 09.30.13:  &#8220;Live Your Dream:  The Taylor Anderson Story&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/jetwit.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/LiveYourDreamPhoto.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-32185\" alt=\"OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA\" src=\"https:\/\/jetwit.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/LiveYourDreamPhoto.jpg\" width=\"324\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jetwit.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/LiveYourDreamPhoto.jpg 324w, https:\/\/jetwit.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/LiveYourDreamPhoto-300x207.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 324px) 100vw, 324px\" \/><\/a>Thanks to Taylor&#8217;s father Andy Anderson for sharing the below update:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Toho-Towa Company, LTD\u00a0 (Godzilla, etc.) is promoting Taylor\u2019s film throughout Japan with City halls, other NPO&#8217;s, Boards of Education, JETs, etc. \u00a0\u00a0JETs are good candidates to organize screenings as part of their community relations work. \u00a0Towa has posted information about this at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cjUvhwX-jDQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cjUvhwX-jDQ<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the proceeds from screenings will go to the <strong>Taylor Anderson Memorial Fund<\/strong> which is being set up as a Japanese NPO.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Ambassador Fujisaki<\/strong> has agreed to be on the board and is helping us recruit other board members.\u00a0 We\u2019re working on a new website for the fund as well. \u00a0Towa would also like to have someone (such as JETs, former JETs, those associated with Taylor&#8217;s fund)\u00a0 speak at each screening.<\/p>\n<p>Towa will launch this effort\u00a0 at the Yamagata film festival on 10\/12\/2013\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.yidff.jp\/2013\/program\/13p7-e.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.yidff.jp\/2013\/program\/13p7-e.html<\/a>\u00a0(Regge and some Taylor fund people will be there) and in Tokyo October 15<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0for potential screening hosts.
