For candidates\u00a0with the right skills, values and enthusiasm to enhance our team, we welcome\u00a0your applications.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Job Description:\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>Global Experiences London Program Director role requires an experienced and\u00a0highly motivated individual to oversee and manage the internship placement,\u00a0ensuring successful matches between our program participants and\u00a0organizations and lead the social programming calendar including welcome\u00a0orientations and career development programming. Eligible candidates MUST\u00a0have ability to work legally in the UK.The position is responsible for ongoing development of the employer placement\u00a0database in London and maintaining and strengthening existing partnerships,\u00a0manage the program start dates three times a year and oversea monitoring.\u00a0\u00a0The role will serve as the face of Global Experiences in London to our students\u00a0and our partners and will be expected to represent the organizational core\u00a0values. During the busiest time in the summer there will also be management of\u00a0a larger team that assist with delivering the social programming and career\u00a0development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Employer Development and Placement management<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and manage relationships with businesses and organizations in London\u00a0to grow and deepen the Global Experiences internship database.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the application approval process and work with program advisors the\u00a0matching and interview process to ensure all participants are quickly and\u00a0successfully placed into high quality internships.<\/li>\n<li>Implement and develop a communication strategy to effectively manage new\u00a0and existing employer relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with GE\u2019s overseas and US-based representatives to manage\u00a0placement process through weekly meetings and planning sessions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Program Management<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with Programs Director to ensure communication alignment and\u00a0collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Manage student, parent, and employer expectations while working to ensure a\u00a0happy customer.<\/li>\n<li>Manage intern issues during programs.<\/li>\n<li>Manage Career Development program development and implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain close ties to housing partners to ensure quality experience and quick\u00a0resolutions to issues.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to company vision, growth and innovation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Characteristics Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extremely well organized and industrious.<\/li>\n<li>Affable, very outgoing, endlessly optimistic.<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurial Spirit and interest in making a difference in the world.<\/li>\n<li>Able to handle highly stressful, deadline situations with grace.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to see the big picture while dealing with small details.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently but maintain accountability to HQ staff<\/li>\n<li>Excellent trouble shooting and creative problem solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Great memory and willingness to learn.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team.<\/li>\n<li>Highly motivating of others, collaborative, and genuinely enjoys building\u00a0relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Calm with clear and effective communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Success and results oriented.<\/li>\n<li>High level of professionalism and maturity.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to delegate while maintaining ultimate accountability for outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree (Masters preferred), plus a minimum of 5 years work\u00a0experience in relevant field, i.e. Human Resources, Education management,\u00a0Study Abroad, Career Coaching, Business Development, Student Services,\u00a0Business management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience living and working in London<\/li>\n<li>UK Work Visa, Residency or Citizenship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Compensation based on experience.
