\nNiseko Alpine Developments [NISADE] is the largest fully integrated property specialist delivering design, construction and hotel operations for luxury accommodation in Niseko. Our head office is located in Niseko, Hokkaido Japan, fuelled by a motivated team of 15 full time employees (up to 80 during winter), and also home to the driest and deepest powder snow in the world, Japan – a popular ski destination for vacationers from all over the world. Niseko is growing fast, and the demand for high-end properties is higher than ever.<\/p>\n

We are now looking for a confident and qualified bi-lingual Project Assistant to work with our developments team, in our subsidiary Sapporo City office. This is a key role within the company – challenging and rewarding, with opportunity to grow. The team is currently composed of the Development Director and an interior designer\/assistant Project Manager, and is taking on several construction projects. You will also be working directly with the Chairman of the company in driving the development team forward. You will be sourcing, establishing and managing the end to end solution for our international client base. This role will require you to take on multiple projects at once, and will test your time management, organisational skills, and your ability to take initiative.<\/p>\n

Your responsibilities<\/b> will include, but not be limited to:
\n\u2022 Assist Project control<\/p>\n

– Assist components of each project
\n– Coordinate consultants
\n– Ensure quality and design meet Nisade objectives
\n– Assist delivery of projects on time and within budget
\n– Assist research in local development laws and guidelines, and suggest appropriate actions and strategies to proceed through the project<\/p>\n

\u2022 Reporting internal and external<\/b>
\n– Conduct weekly Project Control Groups
\n– Report to Nisade directors and clients in a timely manner
\n– Minute all meetings & distribute<\/p>\n

\u2022 Due<\/b> diligence<\/b>
\n– Assist in due diligence on any new projects
\n– Documentation
\n– Review contracts and agreements and make recommendation to directors on any issues or required amendments<\/p>\n

\u2022 Translation skills<\/b>
\n– Translation of documents, meetings, e-mails, telephone calls as required in a timely manner<\/p>\n

\u2022 Communications<\/b>
\n– Clear communication with the Nisade Directors, suppliers, contractors
\n– Liaison with team
\n– General administrative support to Nisade Directors and development team<\/p>\n

\u2022 Research projects<\/b>
\n– Sourcing of items as required including managing timelines and productivity
\n– Information gathered for input to weekly progress report or deadline as required<\/p>\n
