Customer Care Specialists work closely with the Operations Department to ensure the highest standards of service are met for all of ISTS\u2019 customers. They respond to inquiries via telephone, live chat and email, ensuring clear, friendly, professional and timely replies to all questions.<\/p>\n<p>The Customer Care Specialist reports to the Vice President of Customer Care.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities*<\/b><br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Reply to inquiries via telephone, email and live chat<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Use available resources efficiently to assess the customer\u2019s issue and recommend valid solutions<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate Program Manager or supervisor<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Record details of each customer interaction and any actions taken<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Follow up on any customer issues requiring additional research<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Maintain adequate knowledge of all internal software and systems<\/p>\n<p>o\u00a0 Don\u2019t be afraid to ask questions or to ask why<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Communicate with Vice President of Customer Care and\/or Operations team regarding status of issues<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Attend all Customer Care team meetings, as required<\/p>\n<p>*The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
