\nA non-profit Japanese government related organization that promotes trade and investment opportunities for business and companies in the United States and Japan. Provide clients with vital market entry information and a strong support system in order to help them successfully expand their operations overseas. Helped an array of US companies successfully launch their business in Japan, and help business succeed overseas.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:\u00a0 <\/b>
\nMain purpose of this position is to find and assist small-mid size US companies to start business in\/with Japan. Frequent business trip included.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Research on U.S. companies in the NY office territory, who are interested in setting up Japan business in the industry sectors such as IT and health care sectors
\n\u2022 Gathering information on Japan\u2019s inward invest promotion policies and industry trends including IT and health care sectors, and providing U.S. companies with such information
\n\u2022 Organizing seminars targeting at U.S. companies who are interested in doing business seminar with Japan
\n\u2022 Contacting targeted companies by visiting exhibitions\/conferences, conducting cold-calls, following-up with seminar attendants and responding to inquiries
\n\u2022 Providing potential client companies with necessary information. Inquiring to Tokyo HQ, industry advisors and specials, when needed
\n\u2022 Network expansion with chambers of commerce and industry organizations in the NY office territory
\n\u2022 Supporting Japanese companies to expand their products and services into the US market
\n\u2022 Conducting research about industrial exchanges between Japanese and U.S. companies, and supporting their business matching \u2022<\/p>\n

Qualification:<\/b>
\nMust have advanced to native-level English communication skills. Some sales\/marketing experience strongly desired. Japanese skill preferred.Must have a BA\/BS.<\/p>\n
