Candidate must also develop contest guidelines, oversee participant applications, and event promotion.<\/li>\n<li>Local Community Japan-Related Events: Coordinate HBCC\u00a0participation at Japanese cultural events such as, Cherry Blossom Festival, Aki\u00a0Matsuri, Sakura Con and others.<!--more--><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2.\u00a0 <strong>Sister City Programs<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support and strengthen sister city relationships by attending relevant events and acting as a liaison between city representatives. Help to establish new sister city relationships. \u00a0Interface with local government officials and volunteer organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. <strong>Office Information Technology and Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee office IT systems and electronic presences.\u00a0 Manage social media sites, digital marketing, and the HBCC website.\u00a0 Advise office staff on IT-connected issues and support all staff and interns with IT issues.<\/li>\n<li>The HBCC project manager will also have joint responsibilities in greeting visitors, answering phones and providing general assistance with other office projects as necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minimum Qualifications: <\/b><br \/>\nA 4-year bachelor&#8217;s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution, experience living and working in Japan, Japanese language proficiency, and high-level English proficiency and excellent communication skills.<\/p>\n<p><b>Additional Requirements:<\/b><br \/>\nThe ideal candidate for the position will also have the following skills:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022The ability to work on multiple projects to deadlines in a fast, efficient manner.<br \/>\n\u2022Be well organized and able to multitask effectively.<br \/>\n\u2022Have experience in event coordination and a working knowledge of Hyogo prefecture<br \/>\n\u2022Have above average technical proficiency in office and DTP software<br \/>\n\u2022Be able to work in a disciplined way under minimal supervision<\/p>\n<p><b>How to apply:<\/b><br \/>\nSubmit resume &amp; cover letter by via e-mail to <a href=\"mailto:office@hyogobcc.org\">office@hyogobcc.org<\/a>\u00a0 or fax at 206-728-1452.
