From porn to Playboy<\/em> to parenthood, Tera Patrick describes herself these days as a \u201cBetty Crocker Rocker Mompreneur.\u201d Suitably following Hurricane Sandy at this year\u2019s Exxxotica Expo<\/a> in New Jersey\u2014the nation\u2019s biggest event devoted to love and sex\u2014this multi-award-winning force of nature attended the three-day fest from Nov. 9-11 to press the flesh with fans and read from her best-selling autobiography, 2010\u2019s Sinner Takes All<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

But here\u2019s something you might not know: Patrick\u2019s been a diehard fan of Japanese culture since her days in Tokyo as a teen model. In this exclusive interview, the Montana native dishes on Harajuku girls and yakuza tats, the controversial Measure B<\/a> that could forever change the adult industry, and the upcoming sequel to Sinner Takes All<\/em>.<\/p>\n

How are you enjoying Exxxotica?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m enjoying Exxxotica a lot\u2014it was really important for me to come back. This is my first time at the show; I haven\u2019t been back here since 2009. And in light of Sandy, it was really important to give back and boost morale and donate Tera items. I\u2019m doing care packages for veterans tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Last month you were a special guest at <\/strong>New York Comic Con<\/strong><\/a>. How did that end up happening?<\/strong><\/p>\n

You know what\u2019s funny? I always say guys like three things: they like porn, comics and chicks. So it wasn\u2019t too farfetched for me to be there; I actually debuted my first show at Comic Con in 2007 when I appeared in the video game Saints Row<\/a>. So I\u2019ve been in video games, I\u2019ve had the privilege of being on Adult Swim and Aqua Teen Hunger Force<\/em><\/a>, I\u2019ve done adult. I do a lot of different things\u2014I\u2019m an author now. My first memoir was Sinner Takes All<\/em>; my second follow-up memoir comes out February 2013.<\/p>\n

We heard that for Halloween your outfit was a Harajuku girl. Is that true?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. I\u2019m actually very fascinated by Japanese culture. In my memoir Sinner Takes All<\/em>, my first modeling job at the age of 13 was in Omotesando in Tokyo. So I\u2019ve always been obsessed with Japanese culture, and I usually spend one month of the year in Japan.<\/p>\n

Japan still is my favorite country to visit. I love Japanese food. I\u2019m Thai\u2014my mother\u2019s from Thailand\u2014but I love Japanese food, Japanese culture. I love everything about Japan, so I\u2019m really excited to take my family there for the first time in December. So I\u2019ve been a bit selfish, and I always spend a lot of time in Japan. I\u2019ve been tattooed in Japan; I\u2019ve only<\/em> been tattooed in Japan.<\/p>\n
