Both a cultural exhibition and a commercial fair, this is a two-week showcase of contemporary products, rooted in the regional industries of 30 local Japanese Chambers of Commerce &amp; Industry as well as Societies of Commerce and Industry. In this exhibition, centuries-old crafts are finding fresh expression.\u00a0 With a focus on celebrating artisan quality, practical beauty, and regional sprit, <strong>JAPAN BRAND: Unfolding<\/strong> tells the story of innovation within the geographical context of the renowned industries of various regions.\u00a0 The result is a beautiful and inspiring view into Japanese culture and commerce.<\/p>\n<p>Free and open to the public from January 25 to February 7, <strong>JAPAN BRAND<\/strong> <strong>EXHIBITION<\/strong> features a carefully assembled mix of traditional materials and techniques applied to modern use.\u00a0 It is a story of evolution-of the ancient pawlonia chest lending its expert joinery to a modern sideboard. Of timeless lacquering techniques applied to bold new forms.
