San Francisco or Washington D.C. and New York City) and a homestay in locations throughout the country.<\/p>\n<p>Guides will meet groups at the airport in the arrival city (Washington D.C or Seattle), lead them through scheduled orientation and sightseeing activities, accompany them to the homestay location and departure city (New York City or San Francisco), and see them off at the airport.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Description of Duties<\/strong>:<br \/>\n\u2022 Guide groups through all scheduled activities, including arrival\/departure at airports, mealtimes, orientation,<br \/>\nsightseeing, travel to\/from homestay locations, host school activities, etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure the group stays together at all times<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure the safety and well-being of all members of the group by handling medical or other emergency<br \/>\nsituations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Interpreting between group members, vendors, and others throughout the trip as needed<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary of Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Native English speakers with highly functional Japanese abilities (minimum JLPT Level 2\/N2 or equivalent)<br \/>\n\u2022 All-day time commitment for 11 days, including being on-call at night<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience with Japanese students and\/or the Japanese school system<br \/>\n\u2022 Familiarity with Japanese health insurance procedures<br \/>\n\u2022 Residence in and knowledge of the geography, history and culture of at least one of the major cities<br \/>\n(Seattle, San Francisco, Washington D.C. or New York City)<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to handle emergencies and work under pressure<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong communication skills, both oral and written<br \/>\n\u2022 Demonstrated experience as a leader<br \/>\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree<br \/>\n\u2022 Pass a criminal background check<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 $2,500 for 11 days as group guide<br \/>\n\u2022 Transportation to\/from both major cities (either Seattle &amp;
