Funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), this program exposes the student leaders to the U.S., its educational system, and society.  World Learning manages all of the recruitment, selection, applications, placement, and monitoring of these students.  The<br \/>\nProgram Associate will assist a Program Officer in all aspects of the placement and monitoring of the students.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Specific Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Assist in placement research and in placement status follow-up<\/p>\n<p>Facilitate the application process by completing the requisite application forms, ensuring timely submission, and monitoring the process<\/p>\n<p>Make logistical arrangements for students (meet and greet, travel, hotel, perdiem, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>Draft correspondence, copy and file documents, send information to WL\/Serbia field office<\/p>\n<p>Enter and maintain data in WL database<\/p>\n<p>Ensure proper receipt collection and reconciliation<\/p>\n<p>Maintain comprehensive student files<\/p>\n<p>Enroll students in USAID Health and Accident Insurance (HAC)<\/p>\n<p>Assist with World Learning pre-departure and welcome orientations.<\/p>\n<p>Make timely payments including monthly stipends, tuition and fees, book allowances, and HAC premiums<\/p>\n<p>Assist in group\/individual administrative briefings and exit interviews<\/p>\n<p>Collect, record, and send exit information and materials to and from participants<\/p>\n<p>Regularly communicate with students to monitor their progress and act as liaison for questions and problems<\/p>\n<p>Prepare the monthly newsletter<\/p>\n<p>Provide assistance to Program Officers in all aspects of programming.<\/p>\n<p>Required Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"unIndentedList\">\n<li> Masters degree plus 1 year or a Bachelor&#8217;s degree plus 3 years of relevant work experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"unIndentedList\">\n<li> Personable with high energy level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"unIndentedList\">\n<li> Office work experience, strong computer skills, detail oriented<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"unIndentedList\">\n<li> Excellent English written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"unIndentedList\">\n<li> International and\/or regional expertise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"unIndentedList\">\n<li> Knowledge of U.S. university system or international education desired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To Apply:<\/p>\n<p>Send cover letter and resume to:<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"mailto:recruitment%40worldlearning.org\" target=\"_blank\"> recruitment@ worldlearning. org<\/a> with &#8220;Program Associate, FORECAST\/SAM&#8221;<br \/>\non the subject heading.
