\n*** Now Accepting Applications for Bridging Foundation Scholarships***<\/p>\n

The US-Japan Bridging Foundation is pleased to announce that we are
\naccepting applications from US undergraduates who want to study in Japan
\nduring the 2012-2013 academic year.<\/p>\n

Students receive scholarships of $2,500 to $7,500, depending upon the length of study and particular
\ndonor-sponsored scholarship. *Application deadline is April 6, 2012<\/em><\/strong>*. More

*Symposium for Students and Employers*<\/p>\n

Help spread the word to anyone you think would be interested in an* April
\n7th Symposium in Washington, DC for university and high school students to
\nmeet and learn about employment with Japanese corporations* . In commemoration of Japan\u2019s gift of cherry blossom trees to Washington, DC in 1912, the Japan Commerce Association of Washington, DC is organizing a series of events together with its counterpart in New York (JCCI) and the
\nEmbassy of Japan.<\/p>\n

University and high school students who study Japanese
\nare especially invited to attend a symposium on April 7 at the Washington
\nConvention Center, along with Human Resources Department (HR) managers of
\nmany major Japanese companies and government-affiliated organizations. This
\nevent aims to inform students of job opportunities that are available in
