We\u2019re looking for someone to own the publishing process of our expanding Anime library. Strong written and editorial skills in both English and Japanese language is required and knowledge of digital video platforms preferred.<\/p>\n

As a Digital Video Publisher with an Anime Specialization, you will champion quality by maintaining an atypically high – and consistent – quality bar for online anime video and its metadata in line with Hulu\u2019s mission to deliver premium video content.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022Ensure the receipt of scheduled video content from Content Partners
\n\u2022Screen and provide Quality Assurance of videos
\n\u2022Proofread, edit, research, and enhance video metadata in English and Japanese
\n\u2022Ensure timely publishing of videos assets under strict schedules and deadlines
\n\u2022Maintain style conventions and accuracy of metadata on the site
\n\u2022Communicate internally on content status with other Video Publishers and Content Partner Managers
\n\u2022Report encountered Quality Assurance, Publishing and Content issues
\n\u2022Maintain strong knowledge of breadth of Japanese content on the site
\n\u2022Proactively learn updated tools and programs<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022Fluency (both written and oral) in Japanese and English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management
\n\u2022A minimum of 1-2 years digital video experience
\n\u2022Knowledge of digital video workflows, mainstream video editing tools, and web technologies
\n\u2022Obsessive attention to detail
\n\u2022Willingness to work flexible hours in order to meet occasional deadlines
\n\u2022Ability to prioritize, track and resolve issues concurrently
\n\u2022Ability to constantly learn new and improved tools and programs<\/p>\n
