Asia Society, a prestigious, global, educational and cultural non-profit seeks a Director, Patron Member Programs to be responsible for the planning, managing and coordinating of all phases of the Chairman\u2019s Circle, President\u2019s Circle and Friends of Asian Arts patron membership programs.
\n
\nResponsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Chairman\u2019s Circle, President\u2019s Circle and Friends of Asian Arts <\/li>\n
  • Manage all aspects of these patron-level membership groups with the goal of increasing support by attracting new patron members and upgrading current patron and general members while retaining the existing patron membership base<\/li>\n
  • Identify, cultivate and solicit new members through coordination with membership advisory committees and Asia Society networks<\/li>\n
  • Create, develop and coordinate programs, activities and special events designed exclusively for patron members<\/li>\n
  • Manage patron advisory committee, strategically expanding the group of participants<\/li>\n
  • Liaise with appropriate Asia Society staff for patron member programming<\/li>\n
  • Oversee implementation of membership benefits<\/li>\n
  • Write patrons\u2019 monthly e-newletter and coordinate its distribution<\/li>\n
  • Compose and send additional correspondence, including reminders, as needed<\/li>\n
  • Administer and supervise patron renewal and acknowledgement process<\/li>\n
  • Prepare and monitor budget for patrons\u2019 activities<\/li>\n
  • Prepare and generate monthly, as well as ad hoc, patron status reports<\/li>\n
  • Ensure patrons\u2019 database records are up-to-date<\/li>\n
  • Other duties as assigned<\/li>\n

    Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Master\u2019s degree and 7-plus years of fundraising experience preferred with emphasis on identification, cultivation and solicitation of donors<\/li>\n
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral<\/li>\n
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail<\/li>\n
  • Flexible, collegial and adaptable style<\/li>\n
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player, engaging others at varying levels of seniority within and outside the organization<\/li>\n
  • Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel, Raiser\u2019s Edge, and database management<\/li>\n
