Job Position:<\/strong> Project Manager – Shire Pharmaceuticals (Lexington, MA)<\/p>\n

Job Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The focus of this role will be on project management of APAC commercial activities.
\nKey areas of responsibility of this role are:<\/p>\n

  • Manage and coordinate projects of various scope and complexity through all phases of initiation, development and implementation.\n<\/li>\n
  • Act as a liaison between all relevant functions in planning & coordinating key business initiatives critical to the achievement of assigned projects\n<\/li>\n
  • Using project management skills, manage specific cross functional teams to ensure established objectives and timelines are met<\/li>\n

    <\/p>\n

  • Manage the coordination of: product & company trainings for APAC Shire personnel & partners; participation to scientific\/industry meetings; KOL speaker engagements; Grant review process; APAC team\/local partners\/KOL visits to Shire HQ<\/li>\n
  • Work collaboratively with VP APAC, Business expansion manager, in country teams, partners and consultants in APAC region to provide support for day to day requests<\/li>\n
  • Assist in monthly budget management process<\/li>\n
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned<\/li>\n

    Responsibilities:<\/strong>
    \n40% Project management of meetings (local & in region) \u2013 assist in Agenda development, ensure Agenda & all materials necessary for meetings are prepared & distributed, develop and distribute minutes as well as other necessary follow-up to ensure clear understanding of deliverables and action items.
    \n30%\tManage the coordination of training initiatives, scientific meetings, KOL speaker engagements, Grant review process, APAC visits to Shire HQ
    \n30%\tWork collaboratively with in country teams, partners and consultants in APAC region to provide support for day to day requests and to assist teams in delivering on business goals<\/p>\n

    Education and Experience Requirements:<\/strong>
    \nBachelor\u2019s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred<\/p>\n

    Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • International experience and proven success in biotech \/pharmaceuticals industries<\/li>\n
  • Working knowledge of Japanese \/ other Asian markets<\/li>\n
  • Experience in marketing, strategic planning and an understanding of Global Market Economics<\/li>\n

    \n–\tRelevant experience within the pharmaceutical \/ biotech industry
