We offer meeting planning\/coordinati on and incentive trips, handling<br \/>\nevery detailed pertaining to the successful execution of the event and\/or trip.<\/p>\n<p>JOB TITLE: Account Executive<br \/>\nDEPARTMENT: Sales<br \/>\nFLSA: Exempt<br \/>\nREPORT TO: Sales Manager or Assistant General Manager<br \/>\nTravel Consultants Company, Chicago<\/p>\n<p>JOB SUMMARY:<br \/>\nThis position is responsible for supporting operations functions with sales and marketing strategies to increase the company&#8217;s market share in the region. Primary duties include soliciting new corporate clients, maintaining current accounts and promoting all company products and services to increase overall sales.<br \/>\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<br \/>\nSales Duties:<br \/>\n1. Engages in Sales activities to acquire new corporate accounts and group business.<br \/>\n2. Introduces our latest travel management services to corporate accounts.<br \/>\n3. Perform regularly scheduled visits to existing accounts to maintain good client relationship and communicate important industry news and service information<br \/>\n4. Handles Account Maintenance including customer-services.<br \/>\n5. Analyzes market and strategically implements the marketing plans\/methods including advertisements.<br \/>\n6. Inputs sales information in CIMS(Customer Information Management System) and prepares weekly &amp; monthly sales reports<br \/>\n7. Assists in the preparation of marketing tools and advertising materials.<br \/>\n8. Full knowledge of our technologies, including Travelport, KI-Web, Management Reporting, Cornerstone etc, and able to explain\/demonstrate during presentation<br \/>\n9. Support group operations and assist with group departures &amp; group escorting<br \/>\n10. Controls accounts executives, and updates accounts information.<br \/>\n11. Handles\/delivers urgent documents\/tickets.<br \/>\n12. Prepares and proposes Corporate Travel Management Report to appropriate corporate accounts.<br \/>\n13. Prepares and proposes group\/meeting &amp; incentive tours&#8217; proposal.<br \/>\n14. Processes group opening, group accounts&#8217; receivables and payables.<br \/>\n15. Assists the operational departments with trouble-shooting.<br \/>\n16. Prepare travel management proposals and conduct presentations for corporate accounts.<br \/>\n17. Attend out of state business trips to solicit new business<br \/>\n18. Assist with collection of outstanding balances for corporate accounts<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS:<br \/>\n1. College degree preferred<br \/>\n2. Strong sales background, preferably in the travel industry<br \/>\n3. Bilingual desirable (English and Japanese)<br \/>\n4. Knowledge of following applications:<br \/>\nMicrosoft Outlook<br \/>\nMicrosoft Word<br \/>\nMicrosoft Excel<br \/>\nMicrosoft Power Point<br \/>\n5. Apollo experience helpful<br \/>\n6. Group sales experience helpful<br \/>\n7.
